Water damage mitigation and reconstruction
From the first extraction to the final coat of paint. We stop the damage, dry the structure properly, and rebuild what had to come out.
Call (555) 555-5555If water is coming in right now
Shut off the water at the main valve if you can reach it safely. Don’t walk through standing water if it’s anywhere near electrical outlets, appliances, or a breaker panel. Call us and we’ll confirm current response availability and the safest next step.
If the loss is not urgent, use the online inspection request so we can collect the basics before scheduling.
What we handle
Why the first day matters most
Water doesn’t stay where it lands. It moves along framing, wicks up drywall, runs under flooring, and collects in wall cavities where nothing looks wrong from the outside.
The longer it sits, the more materials cross the line from dry it out to tear it out, and the higher the odds of secondary damage. Early assessment gives you more options and usually reduces unnecessary removal.
The goal is not just to remove visible water. It is to verify what is still wet and dry what can be saved.
How we do it
- 01
Find the source and stop it
Drying a structure while water is still entering it accomplishes nothing. We find the source first and stop it, or get the right trade in to stop it.
- 02
Assess and document
We map the full extent of the moisture, including what you can’t see, using moisture meters and thermal imaging. Everything is photographed and recorded before we touch it, which matters if you open an insurance claim.
- 03
Extract
Standing water comes out first, with truck-mounted or portable extraction depending on the volume and location.
- 04
Remove what can’t be saved
Wet insulation, saturated drywall, and delaminated flooring come out. We remove what needs removing and no more. Unnecessary demolition raises your cost and your disruption.
- 05
Dry the structure
Commercial air movers and dehumidifiers, positioned deliberately rather than scattered around. We check and record moisture readings and keep drying until the materials reach their proper dry standard.
- 06
Verify
We confirm the structure is dry with documented readings before any rebuilding starts. Closing up a wall that’s still wet is how you create another problem later.
- 07
Rebuild
Insulation, drywall, texture, paint, trim, flooring. All of it done by the same company, with no handoff.
Not all water is the same
The source determines how the loss is handled, and it’s the first thing we establish.

Coverage depends on where the water came from
Water damage is not one insurance category. The cause of loss is what usually determines whether a standard homeowners policy, an endorsement, separate flood insurance, or direct payment applies.
